MESO Total Tail Light Kit

I did my fronts the other day with matching vleds, so bright now, I actually wish there was a lower power mode for them. Turn signal switch = low power mode, hazards = high power mode.

 

you went with these? Did you buy the resistors also?

 

No resistors needed, yes those are the ones I got. I also did the front marker light (reflector on the side of the headlight) and license plate lights too.

The only normal bulbs on my truck are my high beams, but I use them so little I didnt want to invest in something for them.

 

The running light for the dome? But then the running lights need to be on for the dome to work correct. I don’t remember hooking into running and brake just for my 3rd brake light

 

Installed the Stage 1 for my 2020 Pro. I’ve got Hyper flash when I use my turn signal in reverse for both sides.

 

You mean like if you have your turn signal on while going in reverse?

 

Will there be a drop-in upgrade, or is a whole new kit required?

I have stage 2 though

 

So I think this is more of a issue with the fact that the turn and reverse lights share 1 wire in the harness. there are 3 pins in the harness for the turn signal/reverse light, 2 power and 1 ground. This is probably causing the issue that you guys are seeing with the hyper flash.

Stage 2 Other than the hyper flashing in reverse these things are bad ass! Way brighter than the stock bulbs and I like how all my blinkers are now amber
The reverse lights are way brighter as well Used my wife’s scented candle and a X-acto knife and carved the plastic away to fit the bigger adapter. Had to heat it up 7 or 8 times to make it all the way around. Trimmed it up with a fresh blade and got the plastic shavings out with some scotch tape around a plastic straw. Not too difficult, maybe 10-15 minutes on each light. If I’m not mistaken, I now have LED lights all around the truck

 

There is not, since the switchback bulb is only a 3 wire there would be no way to change it.

 

I’m pretty sure resistors can in fact fix this, I’m sure it’s mentioned somewhere here. I think the no fix issue only is going to be when in reverse and turn signal it won’t switchback (to reverse) on the turn signal side while the other side will be in reverse

They look great! I have all my tools ready to install these stage 2 once they get here. They’re still evidently on a 6 day 5 night vacation in Hawaii

 

Mine finally showed up after their 3 day tour of Chicago. Surprisingly there weren’t any bullet holes in the package.

 

If you install MESO ultimate turn signals it will also fix the hyperflash since they have resistors.
