MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Stage 1 or 2 in themselves are unlikely to cause hyperflash. It really is a truck to truck basis of resistance load levels. The BIG key is what else is on or not on the circuit.

I had the ultimate turns (v3 I think) and my opt7 tailgate bar (though I am not sure it has any impact on the truck's signal circuit in any way r not) prior to going with the original stage 1's and have not seen any hyperflash under any conditions including pulling trailers or signaling in reverse. I have no other LEDs on the signal circuit, adding front LED signals may change the situation.

Either way Meso is great with customer service and is happy to help all his customers should any experience problems.

Love mine. Don't care if it hyper-flashes when backing up and using the turn signal. However, the only regret with this mod. I never get to see it used.

 

Checked mine out today - no hyperflash at any time, including with turn signals on while in reverse. I love this mod.

 

Didn't you have some issues though and had to get a whole new set from MESO and the resistors also? Thought I remembered you talking about it in the AG thread, but don't remember the specifics.

 

Mine doesn't hyper flash in reverse either.

 

I had an odd issue that only affected the right tail light - @MESO had never seen it before - where the right signal would flash dimly white when the left turn signal was on. Resistors didn't fix the issue. He finally worked some magic that stopped the feedback into the right turn signal when the left one was engaged. Once solved, I returned the extra bulbs, harnesses and the resistors. I am not using them on my truck.

In the end, this is one of the greatest testaments to @MESO 's customer service. He sent me new harnesses, new bulbs and finally figured out how to solve the problem. Never questioned, never hesitated to mail out replacements to try to fix the problem and finally solved what is a one-off problem. I'm a life-long fan.

just got mine from taco beast. the kit is good stuff. thanks meso. might have to buy a sticker or something. everytime i buy a meso item from 3rd party i always get their sticker lol. i want a meso one to add to my toolbox.

Do you think you’ll ever incorporate the concept we were all speaking of A few months back. About adding a pigtail or something to the total tail lights. That way we can hook up our Top or shell brake light without having tap into the your wires to hook up the light?
