MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Would that be an upgrade option for folks that already have your stage 1 and wanted brighter bulbs without modifications or would we need to buy another set when released?

 

As much as I'm enjoying this conversation, does anyone really need brighter bulbs than stage one?

At least I think they're plenty darn bright.

Hey @MESO, a question for you.

Truck was in the body shop and they had to remove the bed. In the process I thought they didn't hook things back up properly but it turns out a wire has come out of the middle bulb socket connector. Is this fixable by me?

 

Just installed Stage 1 yesterday. These things are the freaking bomb diggity. Can't believe I waited so long to do this.

TBD on if I have hyperflash or not. Heading on a road trip today and will see what happens. My kit didn't come with the resistors (the install vid showed the resistors... I'm CERTAIN this has been covered in some of the 256 pages of posts here...) so hit search to figure out what's up and found this thread.

These things are so badass.

 

If you end up needing resistors just message @MESO And he will send them to you. If you don't need them, then you're good to go.

Stage 1 Total Tail light is legit. They look fantastic, LOVE that you get the amber turn signals back, REALLY love that the whole tail light lights up when hitting the brakes, and these are significantly brighter than stock. In truth, I can't ever see a need for Stage 2.

And not to pee in the Cheerios and IMHO... if anyone is doubting Stage 1 vs. Stage 2.... I think Stage 2 could be too bright (admittedly, haven't seen them). Stage 1 still passes for factory while being a HUGE upgrade in visibility, but isn't blindingly bright. Again, haven't seen Stage 2 but could see them being too bright for a lot of conditions.

These things kick ass. If you are in doubt about getting them vs. something else for that a'hun'fifty bones, do this. You need this. Trust me you need this.

 

Hey and while you're here looking... another huge shout out to @MESO Customs for superb quality.

I've been looking at their stuff for a while, but never pulled the trigger. I also ordered the black-out cover for the steering wheel Toyota emblem. I wasn't sure how it would look. The quality is *very* good on MESO's stuff. OEM level for sure. I'm super nit picky (to a fault) and they exceeded my expectations. I will be a repeat customer several times over.

I have the stage 1 kit from the first run. One of my 7443 bulbs is out. I came on here to see what brand/model to buy so it matches the other 3 but I see it says custom. Can I order just a bulb from you, or point me in the direction of where to get a match, or should I just be replacing all 4 now to match?

 

Any clue when the Stage 1s will be back in stock? Would prefer to order through Meso than go through vendors if possible

 

Why? By buying through his official vendors you’re supporting @MESO. He may lose a little on the wholesale prices, but can reach a lot more customers by using vendors.

 

I try to go direct with small businesses so they get a bit more of the profit, and I've also seen some of the vendors here have... less than ideal reputations...

 

Just received mine on Friday and it’s very easy to install. Only problem is I have hyper flash now only when I turn on the truck. It works perfectly fine otherwise. How can I get it to blink normally? Thx

 

Sounds like you’ll need to add a resistor in there. Just message @MESO and he’ll hook you up.

Looks like VLEDs resistors, if so, they are high quality.

 

Ordered a set last week from Runnin4Tacos and they are on there way to me. Can’t wait to get them installed. Hate the factory brake/blinker setup.
