I think you should be okay without.

Hard to say 100% as most people's trucks act different, but I would say you should be okay.....

Ordered mine a little bit ago, had the resistors in the cart and deleted last minute, hopefully I don’t need them.

 

just bought another total tail stage 1 as a backup kit if i ever need it. absolutely love it. one of the most satisfying mods so far on this truck. TRD pro tails with MESO stage 1 kit, MESO side mirror smoked signals, and BHLM lights up front with MESO side markers. just those three things changed the truck alot.

For those more electrically inclined, any harm with running resistors even if you don't have the hyperflash issue?

 

You’re just wasting alternator output / battery power by doing that. More resistance means more wasted heat. You do it when it’s necessary but there is no incentive when it’s not.

Granted it’s not significant for turn signals so I’d say the real reason is the hassle of finding a home for the resistors.

Personally, I’d rather have extra turn indicators like the under tailgate strip to add load with something useful than just bleeding off power to resistors.

Rush? I don't think that was an option for me in Toronto. It was either USPS First Class Package International, or Priority Mail International
