@mesojdm PnP reverse circuit harness to add aux backup lights without having to Tap harness? Although I feel okay t-tapping the stage 1 harness over the factory harness...

Dang. I just paid above retail for a Stage 2. To be honest, I didn't think twice about it. I mean, demand drives price in the open market, right?

 

But it's not an open market. There is no competition or suitable substitute and supply was extremely limited. So this is scalping pure and simple and you sir are complicit. I can wait a couple weeks for Meso to restock instead of encouraging these a-holes.

I hear where you're coming from, and respect your position.

From a strictly objective point of view, I guess I don't necessarily find fault with a potential buyer offering more than the original cost if he/she has the financial means, or can't camp on a Meso thread for hours in the small chance of making a purchase before items are out of stock. I would argue that other one off / high demand items on BST occasionally follow the same course: higher bidding takes place.

Now that's it's been brought to my attention, I can see how scalping is frowned upon, especially within the TW community. I'll make an effort to be more conscientious about that with future transactions.

I think there are some differences between reselling and "flipping" IMO. It all comes down to the buyers hidden agenda or motivation(which we may never know)
example;
Say you purchased a kit, and ended up going a different direction like a CrapJET LED tail light from ebay. Or maybe you purchased an extra kit for a friend and he bailed on you.. etc.
Selling it for MSRP (or maybe a FEW bucks more) just to cover your time/cost/shipping. I would consider reselling and perfectly fine.
Now on the other hand.. say you purchased multiple kits(2,3,4+) knowing full well as soon as you get the kits from MESO, they would go right back to the marketplace and list for a higher price.(for whatever reason; offset your cost, pocket more money, whatever). That is Flipping, which I do not encourage.
Are there people that will gladly pay an inflated price? You bet. But this forum is more like a community and I feel doing that to other members(although not against forum policy) is just bad karma. In the end... you can do what you want with my parts.
But I highly suggest you install them

Have any fellow drivers of Tacos asked anyone about the Total Tail kit upon seeing it in action? I was behind a stock Taco around 5 PM and those lights were dismal at best...

 

Triton Switchbacks ? For Brake and Running Lights ? What colors ?

I'm in line for a kit.

It just happened to be bath time for my son.... I missed the drop by two minutes. I scored a harness.

 

Honestly most taco owners wouldn’t even notice. There are a small percentage of us that like to modify and enhance our trucks... those are the people that will notice the kit

 

For sure... Myself and a friend plan out maintenance/mods well in advance, especially when welding and swapping out engines.
