MESO Total Tail Light Kit

I have put the screws that cane with the bulb but it wint go into the slot. I then take the screws off and it fits fine.

 

I got my stage one installed today, super easy, and super pleased!

 

Again I haven’t opened it up really but I thought the screws were adjustable to fit the application

 

Stage 1 should just fit no modifying needed. Stage 2 needs to be modified and includes the base adapter. See the 1st post in this thread. Meso had vids.

 

Yea i have a stage two and have the adapters but the bulb will not fit into the adapter with the screws on

 

You're doing something wrong. Look at the video on his site.
The adapter is slotted. You need to match the screws to the slots. You can't just randomly screw it on .

I can’t recall 100%, but I think I recall having two different length sets - a long and a short. Perhaps using the wrong ones? Or too many? Only 3 needed, equidistant... use the adapter as a guide.

 

I got it. I kept adding the ring around the bulb then putting the screws on. But i got it on finally.

Anyone else feel the need to swap plate lights to LED because the incandescent look archaic next to these tails?

Where have you been?! Switch as many lights over to LED's as soon as possible. My OCD goes crazy seeing the color of reg bulbs and LED bulbs on the same vehicle. I need to switch my vanity lights to LED, than I should be close to all my lights being LED.......I think....

This is my second 3rd Gen, my last one had all LEDs (as well as the coveted OG Meso tails) I waited to do this truck because my hands don’t fit behind the bumper and I broke both lenses last truck trying to pull them out having to replace them both for a $10 mod.
