    Yes because the chrome ring is way different. It goes further into the body of the switch. Only one thats like this

    I was very scared to try to tackle this myself. I had never torn apart any dash. It was so easy after watching videos. Just play vids while doing it also

    This is correct. The 4x4 chrome ring snaps in much deeper in the switch so unfortunately it requires disassembly. It’s not hard, just takes a little time. The start ring can be removed from the outside(button still installed) as well as the new start button.

    MGM is the closest, but still a little darker. The factory is more of a painted silver color. However, my intentions were never to match it because my rings are designed to replace the stock ones.
