You never know. I was able to get 1 of 25 of the limited edition switchback turns in 2018

 

Hopefully they drop after Christmas so people will be penny pinching

 

If I couldn't wait and was to order a set now would the issue with the clips and stuff already be resolved or would they be old stock?

All I know is I've had mine on the truck since the first shipments went out and they've been through rain, Florida heat a trip to the outer banks and 2 hurricanes...a little condensation on the inside outer lens is normal (both lenses have a small weep hole at the bottom for this but then dissipates while driving. The LED arrays and electronics are completely isolated from any moisture so I'm confident there won't be any issues there. People are constantly asking me where they can purchase them and how awesome they look.

 

Perhaps the next edition will have a built in dehumidifier.

 

remember to hand tighten those screws too

honestly the 30% off price is probably what these are worth realistically. I think they are the best looking aftermarket ones out there, but weren't produced as good as they should have been considering the steep price. just my opinion...man.

Can someone verify whether or not the brake light works when the directional is activated? I know the Alpha Rex LUXX series will not display a brake light when the turn signal is on, which is especially unfortunate if you're using your hazard lights. Thanks!

 

No, your brake light will be off, during signaling. As you said, an unfortunate feature when hazards are engaged.

Yes, the 3rd brake will still be illuminated.

^Most tail lights are vented to atmosphere. You can typically see the vents in the back. Condensation should be expected

I have the Solar Octane on order. I would definitely love to have the limited versions as well. Patiently waiting for the drop... I'm curious how ordering process will be for them...
