    I love the look of these tail lights I was debating ordering them before swapping my tail lights out for the factory full red tail lights. I could not stand the 2021 chrome tail lights.

    Imagine buying the limited taco. You’d get all the chrome. :)

    :oops::oops:

    I might just keep ‘em. Having those bright turns / hazards might save my truck one day.

    So, if I speculate correctly, the MESO MORIMOTO tail lights must comply with some DOT regulation and thus the turn signal light output is nowhere near the stage 1 kit?

    If so, upgrading to these lights is actually a lumen downgrade but a stylistic upgrade?

    I truly have no idea. But my inclination seems to think yes. But the DOT standard may just be a minimum lumen requirement. Not necessarily a maximum. So to summarize, I’m an idiot on the internet and have no idea lol.

    Too many to count
    I dont think they will be a downgrade. I recall Meso stating somewhere they would be equivalent in output to the stage 1 total tail kit.

    Can’t wait for these to arrive.

    I’m guessing we won’t have any issues with hyper blinking since it says full plug and play ?

    I think it depends on each individual truck. Each truck is different regardless of trim level and build year. I have no hyperflash and my buddy with the EXACT setup does. Both 2021 OR with Meso V5, OEM LED heads, OEM LED fogs and Meso Hitchpod.

    Now this is all Meso TT Stage 1 which are also "plug and play" and I don't know if full tails are different and hyperflash is a non issue but I assume if it is, the same logic applies. Nothing some tweaking and a few resistors can't fix.

    So what is the going rate for the tails I'll be replacing? Anyone know where I can find details on a 2017 4x4 Sport OEM tails? I'll have the total tails to get rid of as well (as most of us will). The ones I'm selling will have a chrome blackout decal on them that can be taken off. If yall know of a headlight/taillight sale thread let me know! Search function is flooded! Thanks!

    Due to the number of tail lights that will be available, my guess is sub $100 for the chrome (2016/2017) "bucket" lights, but maybe a little more for the darker (2018/2019) "bucket" and Pro tails will be around $200.
    Again, this is just a guess since I usually see tail lights from $100 - $150 and $250 for Pros.

    According to vessel finder our tail lights are still anchored in San Francisco with a port ETA of 3/2/2022.
