MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

I've followed you from the beginning when you started out of your garage making turn signals by hand. Slowly you expanded your products and look at you now. Here's hoping it just gets bigger and better.

Anyone here ever used 3M Xpel film on tails? Is is difficult to get right?

 

I've watched people do them before and it looks way more difficult than vinyl wrapping

 

I'm planning on taking mine to an authorized local installer. If you want the warranty for it, I think it's a requirement based off what the website says.

 

To install the tail lights? It's literally just two 10mm bolts and plugging in the connectors.

 

I think he meant the Xpel. But I’ve been wrong before. I was thinking about paying a tint shop to do mine before I install them.

 

Roger that. I didn't realize Xpel would provide a warranty on something it was protecting. That's an interesting concept.

I ask because I've got some spare Xpel sitting around and was considering giving it a go, but all the curves and details on the tails make me think it will be a tough job to do well.

 

Yes, I meant the Xpel, not the actual installation. Don't get me wrong, I can screw up the simplest of things, but hopefully I won't need installation on the tails.

Also, I don't think the warranty applies to product it protects, just the product itself. Not 100% sure though. I'll find out when I get it applied though.

 

If I had the hyper flash resistor for stage 1, do I need to keep it for my new clear tails?

 

I’m guessing here but the answer is going to be no. However, I might keep it around for a couple of days/weeks as a precaution.

 

I thought, also could be wrong, that the tails already had resistors in them. I have stage 2 and had to do the resistors also. I'll try the new tail lights without them at first.

 

Because most reputable companies operate on a first come first serve basis, and if I wanted to know why others that had ordered after me are getting preshipment notifications weeks before me I have every right to email the supplier to ensure my order wasn't overlooked. Any reputable company should be able to devote 2 minutes to writing a response to ensure their customer their order wasn't overlooked. This is basic customer service that consumers should be able to expect from any vendor regardless of supply chain disruptions. Stop swinging from his nuts and advocate for improved business practices. I appreciate his products as much as anyone, but creating good product doesn't absolve you from providing excellent customer service.

 

These are plug and play with the factory equipment. No additional hardware is needed.

Yes they have resistors mounted to the back of the lights already.

 

And being a purchasing customer doesn't absolve you from being an understanding human being. Practice some patience. If you do happen to see a handful of people receiving them before you (how would you know they ordered after you anyway?), then sure reach out to them, I can personally guarantee MESO will get back to you with a reasonable response.
