    @MESO I’d like to see a radio bezel big enough to fit the premium entune for us SR and SR5 guys.
    Toyota charges way too much because they sell the bezel + color trim which we don’t need.

    I’d like to see someone take a stab at taillights with the BSM sensor. The actual sensor isn’t that big and I think if it went in the reverse light location you could get the angle matched too. I think a lot of people would be interested in shelling out some real dollars for a BSM taillight so they could keep that feature and get a high clearance bumper. Especially if you could plug your existing sensors into it.

    No. Matte black paint.

    I just did the 4x4 ring yesterday following the removal instructions in the video.

    I would pay stupid money for this... but that sensor is huge. Doubt it would fit.

    Those of us with light bar inside scoop I wonder how much this design would impede the beam from shining through? I’m guessing minimal to negligible, not enough to hurt sale.

    The actual sensor isn’t all that big. You can see in the pic it’s about the same size as the reverse light. It would take some serious creativity but I think it’s totally doable.

    2nd Gen head doesn’t go anywhere near the grab handle;

    that’s why I would say putting it into a 3rd Gen is’t a great idea.

    Mods? Yes.
    FWIW, I did some analysis on this in KTJ4x4’s thread: post 269 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...e-w-side-pillars.639018/page-14#post-22196745

    I completely respect MESO’s stance on this, and I would have a long ass vetted disclaimer in the box with the part if i were her. With that said, based on my review, it may be of little to no concern as long as the part can flex correctly.

    My suspicion going in was that because NHTSA started the driver side 1/8th frontal impact, a.k.a. “small overlap” (in MY2015-2016 i believe), they found the crash dummies were hitting the handle so it was taken out close to production. My analysis really didn't show that to be the case though. But what do i know? I am only speculating.

    I still can't believe a handle wasn't standard on these trucks!
