message center

My phone is linked to my Entune, it works. but the message center doesn't read the messages out loud? it says" ignore", and wont let me do anything else. Once in awhile I get it to hook up and it will read the message , but when i turn my truck off. It doesn't work again? I keep having to do this all over again, what is going on?

 

No idea, take it to the dealer..

 

Maybe its your phone, my old smartphone did not read my text messages but since I got a Galaxy S7 it works fine now.

if I-phone, make sure "show notifications" is on in the bluetooth source, mine is "Toyota Tacoma"

 

I have a buddy who is always texting me play by play voicing his frustrations about whatever local game is on.

If my wife and I are out driving around I always hit the play button to have the Entune Lady read off his profanity laced rants. We get a kick out of it.

 

The dealership will tell you that it's common.

My S8 has the same problem. If I close out, unlock my phone, then go into the messages app sometimes I can get the messages to display, but they'll never read for me when incoming.
