If you’re on the fence about the new Kerry King , that cd is definitely a banger. And you need to add it to your collection, has Slayer mixed with Death Angel structure.

 

I preordered and was gnawing at the bit all day till it showed up. My wife walked in the house with the mail and said "something for you in an Amazon bag".

I didn’t preorder it, but Amazon had it to me in 2 days almost like they knew it extremely important.


I noticed that the music is more kinda Death Angel vibe and the lyrics still have the Slayer touch. And you can definitely tell the 2 different guitarist. Phil to me is more clean and Kerry is Kerry.

 

I rarely do but this one just had to be..haha.

Can see a mix of it on the album but you are correct, Kerry is gonna Kerry. WHich ain't bad

 

I wish these dudes would record another face punch LP for the fans. Glad to see they’re doing select shows together again. I like the spin offs (Turnstile, Angel Du$t), but that east coast HC just hits different.

Correct, I’d prefer any other versions though. Those are $300 & $500.

 

What makes it so special? I wouldn’t pay that either.

 

Lol that they call it a "full-length" album but it's 29 minutes and 5 tracks. That sounds like an EP to me

 

Those are a limited run of only 64 that originally could only be purchased at select shows. Very cool to have, but like you said, just can’t justify the asking prices.

 

29 minutes?? That’s like two and a half grindcore albums… Who wants to listen to the same album for half an hour?

I picked up the new Daath CD. I was a big fan. Was. Their new stuff just sounds like a toned down version of their old stuff. Not impressed.
