    The time period of 2002-2005 kicked so much ass for metal shows here in Chicago, I was at a venue damn near every weekend.

    I thought Russian Circles was loud too..but then you see SLEEP and it’s not even in the league of High on Fire or SLEEP, they actually got me nauseas last show. And haha, my buddy fainted. Never seen a grown ass man faint.

    true... SLEEP is a different animal. Pike's rig of Orange/ Hiwatt/ Blackhawk/ Laney full stacks, or whatever he's using at any given time. hahah

    i think all the tone/ volume comes from that beer keg of a belly he unleashes.

    Jon and Nat do a project called Sandrider, Burke is in X Suns if you’re curious. Neither is as heavy/loud, but still good.

    Sandrider rules. I played shows in Akimbo when they came to Ventura county, CA. Jon and Nat are good dudes. I didn't know about Burke's band. I'll have to check that out.
