I don't have an old oil pan but I am going to go check out what they have at Michaels. Any hobby store should have small sheets of plastic etc... Another option is to buy a hobby box at Radio Shack and cut that up. They make small plastic boxes to put your electronic projects in and they are cheap and usually made of black plastic.

how about just a skull? I'm not a fan of comics, action hero movies, etc but I like the concept of a custom emblem.

 

After this batch is done I will be taking a little time off to come up with some of my own custom designs. But if you see something you like in the mean time shoot me a pm.

I threw a few extra of these bad boys on a nest this afternoon. I hate to see good plate go to waste so I used up some scrap area. I'll post some pics of what I have in case anyone is interested.

got the emblem painted and clear coated finally. just gotta install tomorrow take pictures then!

What kind of screen did you use?

 

it was out of an old grinding face mask i had laying around. i think anything would work if it was stiff enough.

I picked up a black plastic folder today at Wal-Mart for $2 and cut out my back piece. Plus I have lots of left-over if I ever need to replace it.
