Me too. It's rare 3 days go by that I'm not enjoying my hood struts.

Would be a sweet way to hide it up out of the view of people who don’t need to see it.

That's why I like where mine is at. Cant see it until you're in the truck. No sun hitting it either.

I have this problem sometimes too, although I figure it's more when the tank is 1/3 full.

Bobber needs to have a little more retard in its movement.

Keep in mind, if it goes below your fitting level you're kind of screwed. More important for peoples like me who run 12psi and up, but still. Even though the little light can get annoying, I'd rather have that over a bent rod.

I noticed while researching that aem has a two prong capacitance level switch. Don't know if it's any good but it shouldn't be as erratic as a bobbing float sloshing around in the high seas of your boost juice tanks.

You have the UCON dialed in to account for meth injection, correct? So your open loop is anticipating more octane and would be lean if your meth ran out? For those of us on a fixed TRD/OVtune, would it really be an issue if you accidentally ran out of boost juice while boosting or at WOT....we'd likely still be running rich as the tune is not anticipating any octane increase in open loop. Just thinking out loud here.

The UCon corrects for the additional methanol automatically, it runs in closed loop all the time. When I got the UCon, I didn't tell them I was going to run water/methanol injection in the future, then added it later, and the unit compensated immediately to keep AFR on target. So to answer that question, it would automatically adjust the injectors to re-richen so that it will be on-target, should the water/methanol run out. So that is sort of a factor of safety.

If you were running TRD/OVtune where open loop is still in effect, if you ran out of water/meth it wouldn't be a huge issue if your water/meth injection isn't there for safety. If your boost levels are under about 12psi you'd most likely be safe, especially for street driving. Your knock sensor would help you out and keep you safe too. But since I'm making up to 16psi, there I would not want to run out of water/methanol. Which is also why I'm running two pumps and two controllers, as redundant systems for extra safety.

Which two controllers are you using? im guessing the MAF one, but which other one?

Nothing is redundant about preventing rods front being garage wall art.

The one that just has a relay activated by boost.

Yeah I guess the only real danger for mild boost setups would be getting a full custom tune with AFRs dialed in and reliant on meth injection to be on target. Boost juice becomes Boom Juice if you run out. It seems there's a bit of a safety net with an overly rich TRD tune, even though there would be some power left on the table.

As I've specifically requested when talking with mat. Not meth mandatory.
