@rjbiii what intake do you have and where did you mount the nozzle?

Urd for now. May get the afe to see if that's the culprit for the glitches. Part of the reason I switched to the washer reservoir. I'm a little nervous about how flimsy the tank is where we tapped it. I used a lot of glue. Cut the hole perfectly, probably wouldn't leak without it. I just changed to a #5 nozzle too.

Sorry. Just saw this question wasn't directed at me.

thanks for the pics anyway. I knew you had URD intake.
I have AFE and there's an unused mounting location for a bracket or something. I'll get a pic.

This fitting could be removed and made into nozzle location if they can be mounted from this position

I saw that! My reason for wanting it! Great spot for a meth nozzle!

Its probably for the now useless engine cover.

Do I need to get an aluminum bung to weld to urd intake for nozzle?

I just tapped the pipe. Seems to work fine. Call me cheap but I thought 30$ for a bung was too much.

If I wanted I could get an aluminum washer and tap it. Then tack weld it in.

    A thing or two...
That's the same math used for calculating fuel injector flow at varying pressure. The NDp/ODp terms are a differential pressure, so the correction factor will depend on the boost pressure that you're running. If Snow rates their nozzle flow at 60 psi as suggested by the write-up, than ODp will be 60. However, NDp will be the pump pressure minus boost pressure. I'm assuming that the meth kit pump pressure is constant and not a 1:1 rising rate like a fuel pressure regulator. However, given the large difference between the 200-300 PSI pressure of the meth pump and the dozen or less PSI that most are running on the TRD/Magnuson superchargers, you could just use pump pressure without too much error.

You could be running at the full 220 PSI. It's possible the 11 amp rating that they gave is actually the inrush current of the motor when the pump starts, and the steady state current is sub-7.5 amps. Fuses can handle much higher currents than what they're rated for short periods of time. Take a look at the time-current characteristic curves for the low profile fuses used in our trucks. https://www.littelfuse.com/~/media/...fuses/littelfuse_lowprofilemini_datasheet.pdf A 7.5 amp fuse will take 90 amps for 10 milliseconds or 11 amps for 200 milliseconds.

Thanks for the info, this makes a lot of sense! Sounds like startup surge

Urd intake and i mounted the nozzle right by the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose fitting thats on the intake piping

I also tapped mine. 1/8" NPT like @White lightning boosted mentioned.

Updated my findings with ambient temps around 45*. Truck ran leaner around 12:1, even while turning on the full spray to come on a little sooner, seemed like the fuel system was having a bit of trouble keeping up (I did not hear any knock though). Put the FPR mod back on for now and I am going to only have the methanol spray in full boost situations.

Tried installing my UCon last night, but seems it has the wrong calibration in it, so that will have to wait until this weekend. Back to the TRD tune for now

I've had the reverse problem. FPR with bully dog was far too rich and now with OvTune I'm leaning on too rich without the FPR.

The meth must spike your Afr's right?

They seem to. Its adding fuel and taking volume of oxygen away.

Heavy rain and crap traffic only allowed boost once on my commute. I did notice the bigger nozzle though.

What do your AFRs look like at WOT without the FPR mod?

You can tell when the meth starts spraying by looking at the AFRs. Things start richening up very quickly..
