Whats everyone's thoughts on running a factory y-pipe w/ secondary cats with water/meth?

I have read online that EGTs should actually go down some, but im wondering if im going to melt the cats

    Running catless headers

I did for months with no problems. If anything I would assume it would help keep them clean.

@White lightning boosted may be able to help you with that. I have not tapped into my injector wiring yet, so im not 100% sure what that involves. I am running boost only to control it for now

I picked the easiest injector and just tapped them. Wires arent specific .They can be... bassackwards and work fine20190411_192108.jpg

Guys. I was running my meth starting at 4psi. Then 5, then 4 sometimes with no change really. Now I dont know where to set it with the trd tune. It's at 5 for starting and the truck is much faster. Any input is appreciated. As of now I'm only running on boost control for meth.

How much boost is peak normally for you?

I am running a 2.6 and see about 8-9lbs normally. I set mine to start at 7lbs with full at 9lbs. Im running no FPR mod w/ 455cc injectors though so im using it for additional fueling

If youre running the fpr mod i would dial it back a little more even

I’m just confused. Do I hook the 2 blues up to the 2 wires going to 1 injector?

One injector is tapped. Two wires from controller to two injection wires. There is no backwards way.

I'm 2.5 fpr mod, comes on at 5 peaks at 7. I used to have it come on much sooner. My problem is I dont really have anywhere here now to ever do a wot run. It really hauls ass now. 1st world high hp problems right? What balance do you have between boost and injection? I've hit 11 psi one time. Scary acceleration.

I am using only boost for now. I wanted to use the 61lb injector harnesses to tap into but the injectors didnt want to play nice with my truck for some reason. The highest ive seen is 10lbs on a cold morning

I used both. Went to lowes and got yellow teflon tape good for oils/gas

I was having issues with leaks when only using the e6000

Nice, any particular reason you didnt just use a thread tap on it?

not much material to tap. i figured i could. but the bung was $10 and can get it welded for free so why not .
