The price is right but I just don’t need all that adjustment. A simple progressive up and down is fine with me.

Alright so whats everyones thoughts on wiring up a stage 3 controller to the pulse width for a urd 7th injector? I dont want to cut my factory harness, but the 7th harness is fair game. Anyone see any potential issues doing this? My stage 3 controller has quit working on me, and i think its related to only the boost function. Thinking about wiring the meth controller to my 7th to confirm if it will work with the pulse width parameter

I don't know if I'd use the 7th output unless you know how it's phased in (as you are currently using this one only for fuel trim under certain circumstances). I would think you could have them setup an alternate injector output that mimics the stock injector operation that way you don't need to splice the engine harness.

Also could you use the output of the UCON to output an appropriate MAF signal for secondary control? I think the snow controller needs 0-5V....I read something somewhere that the UCON uses a 0-6V range to rescale the MAF (can anyone confirm that?) Wonder if that could be used to further simplify the control connections without splicing the engine harness???

Yeah ive been having it activate using boost only up to this point because i havent wanted to cut the main harness. I will probably avoid using the 7th for now and just try to troubleshoot the controller. Need to call snow and see what they say. It isnt sending positive voltage to my pump to kick it on when it reaches a certain boost level. Used to, but now it reads 0% injection but still registers the boost level is above where it should activate. Pump is good, jumpered that to positive and it kicked on.

Would the MAF signal from the UCon youre referring to be on pin 6 of that diagram you sent me? It says "dmaf 2 out" on that pinout chart. If i could get a maf voltage from UCon, a MAF based progressive controller might be a good alternative to keep things simple if i have to replace my controller

@Athlaos can confirm on the increased maf voltage UCon uses. I believe he asked Scott about that and he explained it to him

Yes, I emailed Scott some months ago and he said the UCON uses a 0-6V
    reference voltage.

@BassAckwards is there a reason the 7th won't hook up to the UCON? Or is this just a gap-stop until you can reflash?

@BassAckwards, call and talk to snow. they will likely ask you to send it back and give you a new one. I don't know enough to say if it could run your 7th.

also puzzled why yours quit working. how old is it?

I installed it 12/9/18 so its like 9 months old

The 7th is in and installed, getting retuned tmrw morning. I just want to get the meth system figured out so i can go down to a 2.3. gotta have that as a safety net before going below 2.5 imo

Im gonna give them a call tomorrow morning. I am gonna use the UCon to run the 7th, was just talking about using a MAF output from the UCon expansion harness for a separate progressive controller for meth since the UCon uses a 0-6v range vs the oem 0-5v range for MAF readings. Not even sure if that would work, just considering possibilities. Now that ive got a bunch of wires for the expansion harness under the dash, i wanna hook em up to something:p

Ah okay. I think I misunderstood in a very back-asswards way the first time.

snow should be very accommodating. when my pump went bonkers they made good. I'm very pleased with their policy. you should be all good.

This makes me feel good. I bought it below msrp.. so i took a risk to save some coin. Wont be too big of a deal if i have to pay some to replace it. But itd be sweet if snow hooked it up!

Kelvin showed me a new meth controller that is fuckin bad ass. I'll post it soon.
