I'd recommend it. I'd also recommend two parallel systems. Not much expense, for the added safety.

You mean two small nozzles of equal size set up with the same parameters on each channel of the controller?

yeah, that’s one way. In my case I have a stage 1 with a #3 set up to activate by boost, and a stage 3 with a #2 and #5 set up to activate progressively with MAF.

I have enough spare parts to be able to do this. Do I want to though?

I’m guessing your smaller nozzles are the active ones under less spirited driving?

I’m going to try it. Tried to test fit stuff to my crash bar and it looks like 2 tanks, 2 pumps, and 2 oil coolers will fit.

The controller that pulls the MAF signal will be used to drive a tiny nozzle that’ll spray only water to try and cool down the supercharger under normal driving. Larger dual nozzles will be controlled by the Snow VC50 at upper psi spraying 50/50.

Yeah, a small nozzle for low MAF voltages essentially.

So I have this 2.5 gallon Snow Performance tank I would like to install so I dont have to fill up as much. I was thinking behind the passenger rear fender with the filler neck accessed through the passenger side access door in the bed. What do y'all think?

I do have one solenoid and one check valve. I may want to run two solenoids, one right before each nozzle to prevent engine vacuum from siphoning the water/meth (wm) depending on nozzle placement.

I like how you @White lightning boosted placed your nozzle in your tb adapter plate. Yes i know I need the solenoid for this. ;)

I may place mine in the sc inlet casting before the vacuum connections. This way if I ever get around to doing my sc intake mod, the nozzles are already close to where they need to be so new lines and such would not be required.

    Cheers

Would a check valve work the same? I’ve got a solenoid that’s just going to open for the second nozzle.

You can use these and just thread them into each nozzle holder.

Edit - wait no it won’t work. It just prevents flow going back to the pump.

sweet idea for tank mounting. helps with the taco lean too. how are we able to run a duel system? do you know what page in the instructions?

The biggest reasons I know of so far in my limited knowledge on these systems is:
#1. If placing nozzle AFTER tb then solenoid must be used to prevent the engine from siphoning the wm in vacuum.
#2. If placing nozzle BEFORE tb then normally only a (pre determined cracking pressure) check valve is needed.
#3. If remote locating the tank such as trunk or bed mount, Snow recommends placing the solenoid either between tank and pump, or pump and nozzle to prevent siphoning.

@White lightning boosted found out real world that having just Snow's check valve in place was not enough to prevent the engine from siphoning the wm in vacuum.

all true. i was in a hurry trying to get a spacer plate tapped i overlooked the solenoid. oops.

also for mounting they suggest the pump being below the tank.

I put my tank in the bed. With the pump. And put the solenoid right before the nozzle. I could have put it need the tank but figured better spot would be next to the nozzle.

probably helps keep the line primed. did you put the check valve in the bed near everything as well?
