most factory settind a direct result of the EPA are L E A N !!
almost everywhere on the power band

adding gas or alky or a combination will usually net a gain

yet U mention U have NO means to know what Uv gained
    or at what cost

    there a definitive disadvantages/side effects
    change UR oil often
usually diluted more at idle & mid range by ' blow by '

    good luck

So is the snow performance stage 3 really the best controller? Or does the stage 2 MAF/MAP work just as well? I don’t need a low level light or any extra bling.

I got everything needed except a good controller already. Does anyone use a coupler with a built in port for there point of entry to spray? Mishimoto

i have the stage 3. the adjustability is mind blowing. it can be very finely tuned. i can make selection changes while driving. my only complaint is the backlight makes it tough to see in bright sun. i dont use a low level sensor. im under the hood enough to check for adding. be sure to call when ordering and ask for a discount. i did. i tapped my throttle body adapter, and just threaded one in my intake tube. seems fine!

Alright gents, here's what my filter looks like after 10k miles and about 15 months. Looks pretty clean to me, so I think I'll stick with the pink drink

Good to know.. I'll have to take mine apart this weekend and see how the nozzle looks. May get another one before I do that and just swap em out

Does anyone see any issue with using the 7th injector for my UCon to wire up to the stage 3 snow controller?

i would wire it for itself. then if things went funky you would have great data.

What do you mean by this sir? You saying I should wire it to the primaries? I really wanted to avoid cutting the harness. Maybe there is an adapter out there I could use

Be little more specific. Do you mean to put a meth nozzle in place of an injector on the 7th? And use the snow controller.

I could be wrong but I think you need something like a split second FTC for controlling an injector. Which is probably close to what is inside the Ucon.

Meth nozzles and fuel injectors are completely different animals.

Oops sorry I wasnt more clear.. I meant wiring the pulse width connections for the stage 3 controller to the 7th injector wiring so I could avoid cutting the primary injector harnesses but still be able to dial things in based on pw%. Right now I'm just using boost to control when it kicks on

I had no intentions of using a

So you don’t have the Ucon. But you want to control the 7th injector? I wouldn’t tap into the primaries cause a 7th injector should not be spraying at idle all the way up to say about 3500 rpms.

So why spray fuel and methanol? Meth/water does a much better job cooling things down vs fuel. Unless it’s e85.

I do have a Ucon and it's controlling the 7th. I don't want to spray water meth out of the 7th, I just want to use the wiring from it to tap into for the stage 3 controller wiring connections required. There are two wires on the snow controller that you tap into the injector wiring that reads the pw% so you can dial it in using pw, boost, or a combination of both. Instead of tapping in on the primary injector harness I just want to tap into the wiring for the 7th and use that to dial in the water/meth. The stage 3 will be used for the water/meth and the 7th will be used for gas only

Gotcha. The Ucon controlling the percentages on the 7th are gonna be different than the primaries. I‘m pretty sure the 7th kicks in at 30 percent throttle. Not sure how the stage 3 will correspond to scale between primaries vs the 7th.

Regardless, curious how this pans out. Remember though, too much water/meth/fuel leads to less volume for air intake. So there is a fine line. That’s why I‘m thinking water/meth only and take out the 7th.

my reference was to have a dedicated circut, not a t-tap.

any ' blow by ' U might experience with that set up will degrade the crankcase oil quicker

resulting in more frequent oil changes

    good luck

There’s a big difference between using high end methanol or alcohol as the primary fuel vs gasoline as your primary and a seventh injector spraying methanol from the throttle body that atomizes through PD rotors. Oil doesn’t get milky from the latter. And most people F/I change their syn oil around 5k anyway.
