Yes the stage 3 is controlled through percentages. It starts spraying 50% and then ramps up to 100% depending on what you set it to spray full at.

    Does it start at 50%?

When I was playing around with boost control, I set 5psi as the start of spray and 20psi as the 100% point on the controller, so at my true max of 10psi the controller was telling me spray injection was around 33%. I assumed since I had set a 15psi total range that the controller then was applying 6.67% injection per psi of true boost and that injection is linear based on that start and full injection range set on the controller. Snow might be able to confirm that. One of the most useful features of the controller is the ability to see injection %.

You know, they may not all be the same, or it may vary depending on what you use to control it (IPW or Boost pressure). I have noticed mine consistently starts spraying at 50% when using only boost to control it. I am thinking about wiring mine up to my 7th injector this weekend just so I can see how often that comes on, and maybe I can fine tune it a little bit more with that. I could be completely wrong though, I am no expert, just trying to think through things

Same here, I'm definitely no expert, just tinkering around with it so far. I've only used boost control and have not touched IPW control. Perhaps the controller is set up to default to a 50% starting injection if you choose a smaller range of boost for the start and full injection points. Such as the 5 to 10psi points most of us are in the ballpark of using. Definitely a smaller window of injection for typical superchargers vs turbo setups and this universal controller is pretty versatile in the control settings. Just spitballing here.

Hey @Roostfactor what temps do you commonly see pre and post intercooler?

Been trying to find a suitable intercooler coolant flow switch for a while but having trouble finding something that seems reliable, which is kinda silly because a flow switch is a pretty simple device.

    25 to 70° F.

    Cruising 75mph in vacuum 25°
Under 5lbs sustained boost up to 75°

    This is with 2.3 pulley.
Temp delta is less with larger pulleys which is why i'm going back to 2.5 pulley.

What are your plans for this switch?
    Whats its purpose?

    Thanks!

Any idea what temps the coolant itself gets to?

It's for coolant flow to get an indication light in case of pump failure.

    No I dont.

Couldnt you run an led to the pump wiring?

That's one option and easier. A little less failsafe I guess. Idk, probably will end up going that route as I want to rewire the pump to run off a relay instead of that stupid fuse tap on the efi circuit.

Yeah I already did that relay mod.

How are you triggering the relay? I want to isolate the intercooler pump from the EFI circuit completely, but I can't find a good place to tap into. Maybe the cabin fuse box?

I found an acc wire in the wire loom to engine compartment fuse box.

I think it was a purple wire.

Since I installed that V3 AEM nozzle I've been consuming meth like twice as fast. Which is interesting because the nozzle should only spray 20% more than what I had in there before. I almost wondered if there's a leak past the pump but there's no sign of any spray in the engine bay. I don't think I'm 'on' it more than usual but maybe I am.

I guess these are the prices we pay for having crazy trucks. It's running great at least.

Oh except my meth level indicator seems to have stopped working. Gotta troubleshoot that.

I haven't noticed much difference in consumption yet going to dual 375 cc/min (from 320 cc/min). Also mixed some 50/50 to try out and the kick is there but it's due to both the nozzles and the mix. Probably will run washer fluid after this tank to see how she behaves.

Also, just built a bash guard for my back of the box meth tank. And a place to put some stickers I've been hoarding for a while.

Ah. I interpreted your previous post as being dual 625 or something... I wonder if mine is consuming so fast because I spray before the TB, where the 500ml/min for the v3 nozzle is on turbo cars where you spray into boosted air.

Really nice bash guard there. I think that's a great place for all the stickers.

I did post the wrong nozzle numbers on my build thread and quickly fixed it but you're not tripping on that one if you saw it right after I posted it.

I think most of us are spraying pre-throttle body no problem. Post throttle body is where a solonoid is needed to prevent engine intake vacuum from sucking fluid from the nozzles isn't it?

Aha. Neither of us is crazy so that's good. Well - I am crazy, but you know, I've been taking my medications so I'm good.

That's right on the post- TB. But I was talking about pre-TB, but after turbochargers, which is where I'd have to spray if I installed a system on my car (which I'm still thinking about doing too).
