Because they are likely old, an have been outdated overstock. They have had complaints of Amazon selling them for less than agreed to. I checked amazon prices and asked snow about it. Violations of distribution agreements.

 

Do they only warranty it if you buy straight from Snow?

 

Elsewhere too. As long as its sold at the correct price point.

So. Ongoing testing is needed for accurate info after installing snow performance's stage 3 controller. Probably overkill for my application but I couldn't easily fit another 2" gauge. My excuse, and fine with it. I used their general guidelines for setting it up. 50/50 info read from both boost and injector pulse width. Guessed at everything else. Wow! Truck drives great. I need a dyno, and the money for it for further gains. It's hard to explain how it drives but I'll try. Imagine if its 90* outside and when you boost you allowed 30* air in the motor instead of what you're used to. It's very surprising. If you hit the throttle at 50mph about 1/2 to 3/4 it really goes. I'll post a video when I can. What surprised me is approaching 70 you start backing off the throttle steadily and you're still accelerating. I think it's from the cooling making the supercharger really perform instead of drop off from heat. These pics dont show much as I loomed everything. Finger is to the injector tapped.

I wonder if putting a tank where the spare tire goes would be possible. Might be hard to fill up but I am sure I could get creative. May be a slight delay sending it all the way back there to the engine bay.

That stage 3 kit looks very nice and tempting. I for sure want a meth kit, but I am trying to not spend money until my next camping trip is done with. Hmmm

 

Yes. Took me 2 min. Super simple.

 

One way check valve solves that. Yes, you could put it there.

 

From your original post @White lightning boosted you said the low fluid warning light stays on until you get low then it flickers and goes out.
I think you have your float switch installed upside down. Try rotating 180°.

It only works in one direction. I checked the wiring multiple ways. Finally emailed snow and they said that's how it works. Light on full, light out low/empty. Confused me then just like the water going up through the fmic. Doesn't make sense to me

 

That makes absolutely no sense. (This is just speculation) It's just a float switch so it needs a ground to turn the light on so you probably have it oriented where it is constantly grounded which keeps the light on until the level gets low enough to allow the float to move.
If you flip the float 180° then I would think the float would be in a position where it isnt grounded until the level gets low. When it get low enough the float would move to a position creating a ground which completes the circuit causing the light to illuminate.

I know I'm crazy ocd but the light on constantly would drive me nuts!

 

I completely agree with you. The float can only function one direction. Bobber only has 90* of movement. Like an elbow. I wired it all possible ways and this was the only way it worked! Fortunately I like lights, bells, whistles and shiny things so it fits fine with my gauge ornaments.

 

I ran the tank dry multiple times trying this out. Good thing the pumps are designed over built to not break!

@Roostfactor, I never saw that picture in the instructions. I humbly admit you are correct. It does function that way. Just did a test with a spare float I have. Thank you for the lesson.

 

I have group buy prices listed in an earlier post. Have you seen them. If yes do you have a way of improving on the offer snow performance offered me? With their warranty blessing? Just curious.
