Hey all- will MR701 or MR 702s 17” 0 offset / 4.75 Bs shod w 275/70/17s fit without rubbing on a 2nd Gen w 3rd Gen suspension? I know a lot of parameters here. I already have 275/70/17s on stock sport wheels (+28 offset?) and they fit w very very minimal rub on the uca. What do the wheel gurus say about fit and how much will they poke at all?

I believe that your stock sport wheel is a 17x7 and you will be moving to an 17x8.5 inch wheel. Basically if you think about it, it will push your wheel out 28mm out towards the fender and maybe add a 1/2 inch on top of that for the tire since the width of the rim is a little wider. As long as you don't have a aftermarket UCA, you should be fine with that tire. You may need to trim a little on full chock when offroading.

The uca clearance should be fine. Cab mount might be close and fender. The main issue is the scrub radius of the tire is gonna change by about 1 1/2”.

So far it looks it sounds like I’m going to be ok. I was concerned that the 4.75 BS would push the tire too close to the UCA even though it’s 0 offset. I’m also running K02s if that matters for tire profile. Also, any idea if they will poke out at all? Most of the pics of Methods are on 3rd gens so it’s hard to tell if that will be the same on a 2nd gen. Thanks all!

With the 0 offset, you should be fine. The tire should be right at the edge of the fender.

This is a 17x8.5 -10 with a 285. So approx 3/8” less and of course the 275 is narrower. 3CA8A5BA-2F18-46AC-A09C-8F4678A1AFC4.jpg
