    I just recently purchased a 2019 TRD Sport and have been looking for some wheels/tires.

    I've done a bunch of research on the largest size tires I can fit (265/65 r18)

    I want to go with Method Grid and on the website there are two different options for the 6x5.5 in 18in.

    18x9 6x5.5
    0 offset/4.5" spacing
    18 offset/5.75" spacing

    Also I have seen some posts about a -12 offset but can't find those wheels on the website.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-off-your-wheel-tire-setup.443185/page-18

    I have been reading about offset/backspacing and can't seem to figure out which ones to go with.

    I assume the 0 offset will poke more? Any help would be appreciated!

    Someone else will surely chime in - It's my understanding that the ~4.5 is the optimal BS. Anything less, you will need to check for rubbing on suspension and inside fender. Anything more and you will need to look for rubbing outside fender trim.

    Yes, 0 offset will poke more...and rub more.
    0 offset should be 5" backspacing on a 9" rim width.

    +18 is probably too much backspace. Backspace on a stock Sport wheel is 5.43"

    On this site it lists 0 offset with 4.5 backspace and 18 offset with 5.75 backspacing... are those wrong?

    Off-set and Back-spacing are kinda tricky concept's. Either measurement is only to describe where the mounting surface is located inside the wheel hub. But they can be different for different size wheels. I'm no expert on the subject mater. But I've seen where the 4.5 BS is well accepted. I think you will be fine with this one.

    18x9 +18 offset/5.75" bs is correct.
    18x9 0 offset/4.5" bs is not.
    Look at the 5x150 bolt pattern right above it in your link...same width, same offset, 5" backspace.

    Backspace=[(rim width + 1")÷2] + offset
