Method Race Wheels Issues with Clear Coat

I have the 704s in matte black..and full of trail scratches. And no coating that I know of. Ive been extremely happy with these rims.

figured i give an update since someone asked me about these. still never got a reply back even after emailing them again. im sure by now its out of warranty. my guess is they was waiting for my warranty to run out so they can now deny the claim

 

Damn man that sucks. Definitely looks like a factory defect and that warranty is Bull****! I get a lot of customers that come into my powder coat shop in Glendale, CA with rims looking like that and we do a simple sandblast and a quick clear powder coat and those babies look as good as new. Obviously that's for the folks that are out of warranty and will run you a couple hundred bucks. But it could be an option for you in the future. If anyone is in the Los Angeles area and need some work done you come give us a visit and we will take care of you!

 

Did you ever try calling them? I wouldn't rely on email alone to get something like this handled.

 

both was done. it was how i got the email to send it to along with the pictures. from what i was told there are multiple people that access and reply on the same email accounts
