Anyone running 17x8.5" Fat Fives on 2012+ DCSB? I really like the look (similar to Rockstars, but not played out). Have not had much luck finding may pics of this. Anyone have them and care to share some pictures and reviews/thoughts?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did anybody ever find a pic of these wheels on a 12 or 13? Did you buy?

    Thanks!

Sorry about that. The pics were not taken specifically for the wheels. They were all I had. I will try to grab some better shots tomorrow.

    Looks great!

What size tires are you running and did you install a spacer? Also, are you still on stock suspension?

Thank you for taking the time to post those. Indeed they look great.

After a quick search I can't find a bore size on those wheels. Are they hubcentric or did you have to put in some hub rings?

    How do they ride?

    Thanks!

    • 265/70/17
    • No Spacers
    • Completely stock suspension

Did have very slight rubbing up front when in reverse (backing out of driveway and turning). Mudflaps removed and rubbing gone...

No hub rings... They ride very good. Better than stock for sure!

I have never seen them before now. It is a nice wheel. Simple and solid in appearance much like the FJ 17" alloys. What I would call a proper truck wheel.

108mm bore for the 6x5.5 bolt pattern. Close, but not hubcentric.

Feel free to PM me with any questions!

So based upon this short thread, running these wheels on a 2nd gen Tacoma results in supporting the weight of the vehicle on the lug bolts? Sure sounds like these wheels are a safety and structural hazard.

Anyone have more detailed information? Having to read dozens of threads on this forum to try and find all of the specifications needed to order a set of wheels is getting ridiculous.

Intended set up: RCD 4.5" lift 285/70/17s AND now doubting Method Fab Fives
