His wheels are 17” Method Con 6.

Tires look like 285/70R17 Cooper STT Pro’s.

to be noted I do have slight fender rub only when the wheel is fully cranked and in reverse on the driver side. Looks to only catch on some plastic in the front of the wheel well. It'll be an easy fix though

Cheaply made and catered to modern truck culture. They often feature fake fastening bolts and/or bead locks.
Get you something that's legitimately tested and certified, even if it's used/vintage.

In Washington real beadlocks are illegal... So can't exactly rock those on a daily driver. You're making it sound like these are Replica wheels lol. Like sure they aren't highend but I haven't heard of anyone having an issue with them.

case in point- they are great wheels for a weekend warrior like myself

Cheaply made? You’re stretching that quite a bit.

I've never paid a "JDM tax". Care to enlighten?
I've been buying used quality wheels from Japan for years and never been disappointed. I even sourced a set of used TE37X for a TW memeber.

I continue to be impressed with TW members, and the level of useful responses.

Getting ready to get Method and wanted some feedback on them - and BAM - TW has a thread.

    Thanks everyone!

I liked the bronze nv, but my buddy that has them on his dodge is having to replace all the bolts because they rusted and look horrible. Decided to go with a different wheel

Sorry for the ignorant question: are all these brands appropriate for trucks or is there a specific one you’d recommend. Thanks.

Also not 3rd gen but have Method Standards. No issues with fit/finish. Style is personal but I'm happy with them. Running Method center caps.

Going on two years on my method vex's and I love them. Sturdy and light wheel that looks good on tacos.
