Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface

has anyone used this thing? does it work as it says? it will be going into my 2008 taco

I just put one in my '10 DC and it works just fine. There is a thread that has all the wiring Q&A stuff you'll need. If that doesn't get you through Metra tech support is pretty helpful too.

I used it on my 2012 and got a harness specifically for toyotas and it plugged right up. My whole DDIN install went in without cutting a single OEM wire. Ow and it works great...way better than the PAC and works quicker as well. My phone buttons work as well.

 

I set this up in my 09 and it worked great! One piece of advice that really got me. Metra included a green/orange wire and an orange/green wire. I spent almost 2 hours trying to figure out what went wrong before realizing I had the wrong wire.

 

Where is this said thread? I'm about to do an install, could you please point me in the right direction?

I have a 2009 Access cab (prerunner) non JBL system.
