i am trying to put my new metra ipod adapter in my truck and the dang thing wont work. i plugged that deal into the back of the headunit, but im not sure if its actually all the way in. i pushed it in til it wouldnt go any further but it never clicked/locked in place with the little saftey tab on the bottom of it. i know its getting power because my ipod says "accesory conneced" and wont let me do anything else on it. but when i try and press the DISC button nothing happens. it will just stay on the FM channels. HELPPP

Okay, from the metra thing there are 2 cables...one goes to the radio, the other just hangs out. Now the cable you took out from the radio goes into the cable that is just hanging out. It should work now
