So I got sick of calculating what tire size a metric tire was. I can always guess but I would rather be exact.

So I made an excel sheet that shows you what almost every possible combination between tire width and Aspect ratio there could be.

    How it works:

    1. Put your desired wheel size in the box on the far right labeled "What size is your Rim?" (In this example 16" wheel)
[*]Look for the desired standard tire size in the table (In this examble I want about a 33X12-16 tire -- the charts 32.5X11.8-16 tire matches my needs best)
[*]At the far left of the row you selected is the width of the tire and the first number of the metric tire size. (In this example the width is 300mm)
[*]At top of the column you selected is the aspect ratio and the second number of the metric tire size. (in this example the aspect ratio is 70)
[*]Your rim size is the final number of the metric tire size (in this example the rim size is 16")

So in looking for a 33X12-16 tire, I would like to find a 300/70-16 in a metric tire size.

Please feel free to let me know if you think anything should be added changed or just give me your general impressions.

Yes you can, and in a way it gives you much more info than mine (props to tcBob) but mine lets you see the entire range of tire you can get for a particular wheel size. Just take a look at it if you like it cool if not no big deal.

Nice work. When I get some time I'll link it up in the tire calc, or maybe even integrate its functionality if that's cool with you
