    If these are the first tools you are buying i would choose a socket set before a wrench set.

    My point exactly. Good mechanics set comes with both. Usually between $50-$100 or up

    Notice unlike the HF sets they don’t skip sizes.

    The all in one mechanic tool sets look like a good deal but there are many compromises to maintain the price point. It is better to buy sockets and wrenches separately.
