    OP, the reason why you're not getting straight answers about this is because there are none to give. I think all anyone, outside of a few Toyota higher-ups, knows is that Toyota is announcing a redesign for the 2016 Tacoma at the Detroit Autoshow...which is what you said.

    I'm sorry but isn't kind of going to be irrelevant? most of the parts are made in Mexico only put together in Texas.
    other than that I think it's only because of the new released in January in Detroit maybe that's what you're referring to Or saw.
