2010 DC/LB TRD Sport Prerunner. Hecho en Mexico. Located in the Portland Oregon area. I don't really care since my last Ford was built in Mexico and it lasted 9 years with no major issues.

Mine was assembled in Mexico and what I think we need to remember is these plants are assembly plants. Most of the parts to our trucks are made in the same place, my motor and transmission were made in the U.S. and some other percentage of parts(can't remember exactly) were made in Japan/Canada. I wish my truck had come from a plant here in the U.S. to support the U.S. jobs but the truck I wanted(DC 4X4) did not have that option, I did check before my purchase.

I own 3 toyotas at this time, my new truck made in Mexico, a 95 camry made in the U.S. and my 86 truck was made in Japan, so far all great vehicles!

Mine was made at NUMMI, so Mexico.

So far no problems. The quality is a lot better than my last two Yota's that were built in Japan.

When it comes down to it, no matter where they were built, it's the same tooling that did it. Nowadays the only thing Humans are responsible for is trim and a few other things, the robots do it mostly.

Damn this thread nowadays nothing is what it seems. MExico or US makes no difference. Each plant will have their impefections that will make it to someone's driveway and the owner will claim all vechicles made at such plant are crap. Now the other day I bought an authentic Armani shirt at Macys and I was shocked to see made in China on the inside of the shirt. Authentic Italian my A$$!!! Nonetheless its an awesome t-shirt. Those Chinese can make some good shirts.

So many manufacturers in Mexico now.. VW for the longest time, Dodge, etc.

I can honestly say that my Baja California built Taco will last a long time and feels far better put together than my 2000 USA Built Taco.

Americans can build a good car or truck if you give 'em good plans to start with
