    oh wow, i thought all tacomas were built here. better go check and see if mine is mexicano

    good, only thing that sucks is i cant go braggin to the ford guys that my truck was built in the US, cause its not:(.. o well, its still better than there ford:D

    ive had 2 american built vehicles and i still have one. a jeep wrangler, i think this is the best american car built and i had a silverado before i got my taco,

    what was i thinking buying a chevy then! :confused:

    '17 Tacoma DC LB 4X4 TRD Off Road.
    I have seen Mexican Tacomas where they do not need the rear suspension TSB, they come already with the four springs, again the one I saw it is a made in México and with Mexican plates Tacoma. Probably made for their tough roads and highways. Good for them that there not so familiar with the TSB's issues as us in the US.

    09, DC, TRD off road. "Hecho en Mexico". From what I have found out near by, in Tijuana! (So I guess I'm supporting the local economy) :D

    I'll have to drive by there some day and see if I can get a tour...:bananadance:
    I also asked for it's Green Card but my white salesman had no clue,,, the Hispanic ones were laughing....

    Pleae choose base model regardless of engine... I goofed that one up and can't go back and edit the poll that I know of. I always forget about the base model V6 because they seem to be so RARE. :cool:

    My dealer told me this area was sort of a test market for this model. No options but V6,4x4, and ext cab. I could only get it in white or silver, too.

    The parts are probably all from the same places so it probably doesn't matter where its put together. Look at it this way: In Mexico, you get to have a siesta. So at least their workers are well-rested.
