    just checked my vin and starts with a 5 so guess it was made here in the good ol US of A .. So if its made in the USA is Fremont the only plant here in the US ?

    09 double cab 4x4 w/ trd offroad made in mexico 05/2009. I bought it the same month it was assembled! I have no problems with it thus far. I does need the leaf spring TSB in my opinion though.

    3" lift, and 265 75 R16 Trxus M/T's enroute. (to be installed in about 2 weeks)
    From what I'm hearing, where the Cali plant is sold (the joint GM plant), most tacos on the lot for the fall, early winter will be mexi's... Until another suitable plant is set up to continue USA made Tacos... My guess is that this may also result in a supply disruption.

    06 TRD Off Road PreRunner from Mexico, they know how to make a good Taco. This kinda ruins things for me however. I've always argued it was assembled in Cali against the "buy from America!" crowd. In fact I've always loved saying my Toyota was made in the U.S.A. while my Pontiac GTO was made in Australia. Oh well, still don't care, the big 3 only recently started building any I'd want.
