If it's really gonna cost the equal to the US Dollar conversion, Toyota will have a huge problem selling this truck in Mexico. Current 2015 Price 4x4 DC is $456,200 pesos, If we get today's bank exchange rate for an exercise we will get that $16.35 / $456,200 = $27,902 US Dollars ... But the key part is Toyota Mexico freeze each year their car prices so at the beginning of the year the dollar ExRate was at 12.50, meaning that if we repeat the exercise we get a US Price of $36,256 making total sense because is the same price as the US.
So if the 2016 4x4 in the US cost an average of 38K would that mean the cost will be $16.35 x 36K = 588,600 Pesos? That will be a 30% price increase, good luck with that ....

They usually adjust the price for the region/country...German cars are more expensive in Germany because people are willing to pay more for them than here and competition is not as big as in other regions.
In the US you can get the same German car for far less

I heard they where going to be $600,000 (34.2k USD) for the 4x4 DCSB version (the Sport version, the Off-Road won't get here, again!)

That's what a guy in the dealership told me, but I guess it's not official yet.

The 4x4 Tundra is 686,600... So 600 for a 4x4 Tacoma is not THAT ridiculous... Freaking dollar is too expensive amigo!

I got news for you brotha, my dealer just confirm the price for the 4x4 Double Cab .... $ 491,900 MX Pesos so if we make the conversion taking an ER of $16.2 the cost in US Dollars is = $30,364, THAT'S RIGHT ALMOST 10K CHEAPER THAT THE US

    As additions information the 4x2 = $455,300 = $28,104 US Dollars

I would like to think that we finally have an advantage as the main manufacturing country.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Is that for a US spec truck?

IE, could you move to the states, bring the truck with you, and qualify for safety and emissions requirements?

If it is a US spec truck, how much does the Hilux cost there?
