    Depending on the size of the rocks, I might have shot the kid in the head too. You can easily kill someone with a well aimed, and weighted rock. With that said, I haven't seen the video, or the said rocks that were thrown at the officer(s). All I know, is that if I am being bombarded by large, heavy objects, and I am put into a life threatening situation due to this, I see no issue at all in taking lethal action against the perp. Kid or not, a situation like this could easily turn deadly for both sides.

    The officer was on his side of the border, the kids where on Mexican side, if anything he should just backed off a few steps or fire to the air as a warning.....

    This is also a very good point. How many times do you think Mexican border patrol agents get rocks thrown at them? ya probably never. You definitely need to respect the law, everyone knows that, even if your 15

    I agree, the kids should have not throw rocks, the officer should have not used deadly force at first instance....

    are you allowed to aim at the Mexican side of the border? i mean there has to be some kind of justification if they are firing at you, but throwing rocks???

    When you pose a threat to a border security agent, whatever action it may be, you are asking for trouble... Why are they throwing rocks anyways? The right sized rock can kill somebody if they get hit in the head.

    Let's see, they crossed the border ILLEGALLY, and than threw rocks at the Border Patrol. Hmmm,I have a very hard time feeling bad. Sorry if that offends some of you but if this is what they do crossing the border than what would they do if they need to make ends meet once they start living here illegally. Sorry but I am tired of my tax dollars going to give illegal aliens free health care etc. If I didn't have insurance and go to the hospital guess what? My ass will be in debt up to my eye balls but if I am not a legal citizen I would get the same care on the cuff so they jump the border use force against US Border Patrol and than act surprised when someone ends up dead. I posted this on another board a couple weeks ago and should be food for thought for some who feel sympathetic.

    IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOR.

    IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY.

    IF YOU CROSS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET SHOT.

    IF YOU CROSS THE SAUDI ARABIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE JAILED.

    IF YOU CROSS THE CHINESE BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU MAY NEVER BE HEARD FROM AGAIN.

    IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED.

    IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO POLITICAL PRISON TO ROT.

    IF YOU CROSS THE U.S. BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET
    * A JOB,
    * A DRIVERS LICENSE,
    * SOCIAL SECURITY CARD,
    * WELFARE,
    * FOOD STAMPS,
    * CREDIT CARDS,
    * SUBSIDIZED RENT OR A LOAN TO BUY A HOUSE,
    * FREE EDUCATION,
    * FREE HEALTH CARE,
    * A LOBBYIST IN WASHINGTON
    * BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS PRINTED
    IN YOUR LANGUAGE
    * THE RIGHT TO CARRY YOUR COUNTRY’S FLAG WHILE YOU

    Was the kid definativley on his side of the Border? When he was shot is it not possible that he managed to get back to his side?
    There are too many variables for us to speak for certain unless we were there or have witnessed the actual incident. We just can't trust the word of the news and we all know that each side will tell it in their favor. There was 1 kid detained on the US side so who thinks only one child ran across?

    I still challenge somone to run out and stone the Mexican Border Patrol, wether on their side or ours.

    im glad they shot the illegal im sick and tired of my tax dollars paying for these shit heads. as far as im concerned, they should set up motion sensing turrets all the way across the border, so when jose wants to get over here illegally, his ass get decapitated... maybe thats cruel... but whatever. id rather my tax $ goes to that than the illegals.

    hey a law enforcement officer has a right to defend his life. im sure that the if a kid on our side threw rock at one of your officers it would happen the same way. all im saying is we are protecting our country. if they didnt want us to defend our lifes they wouldnt give us guns. im sorry if i offend you but im going home at the end of day. end of story.
