MGM 4x4 OR MT Build, name’s Greyson

Hello, after lurking TW for months, even before I purchased my first Tacoma, I’ve finally decided to start my build thread. This by no means will be perfect but I’ll try to provide as much details / photos of my upgrades as I get them over time.

After leasing 2 Tacoma's before this one (18’ SR V4 & 22 SR5 V6) I fell in love. I knew I had to purchase one if I was to make it my own, and that’s exactly what I did.

On January 20th, 2022 I turned in my 22 SR5 lease early and finally got into a 22 MT OR 4x4 in MGM


First thing I knew I was going to do was transfer over my TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll-Up from my other Tacoma to this new one..

On January 29th I ordered the Tacoma Tailgate Inserts and OEM LED Bed Lighting Kit

 

When they finally arrived, I also decided to debadge the V6 on the tailgate after the install for a more symmetrical look..

 

February 3rd I ordered the Toyota Black out Emblem Overlays and installed them once they arrived

 

Now onto some slightly bigger upgrades, decided to change the tail lights to the TRD Pro Taillights and I fell in love with these
(Before Top / After Bottom)

 

Best tail lights IMO, especially with upgraded bulbs. They're bright as hell and look sharp even when the trucks off.

 

Got some OEM Door Sill Protectors / might as well start protecting the paint there while it’s still brand new

 

Purchased some OEM LED Headlights Part # (Left - 8115004290, Right - 8111004290), they were pricey but I was eyeing these since I noticed the Tacoma didn’t come with them from factory.. definitely worth it IMO
