To help with the OPs original post, try taking pics of your truck from the quarter angles, with the side facing towards the sun, when the sun is very low, within an hour or two of sunrise or sunset. I have to agree, though, that something is just not right with his paint for it so show that bad from all angles even when the sun is high.

Maybe the door and front panel were messed up and replaced prior to leaving the factory.

Dealership would have no idea of this.

If all the panels were sprayed auto as normal it would be one batch of paint both primer, color, and clear.

This is a factory correction that was made prior to shipping.

+1 more for taking it back and not leaving until it's made right. That's crazy stupid for a brand new truck.

My response was a reply to someone who said a paint color carry over means the truck was not 'all new'

My comment was not related to the paint miss match, which would annoy me as well.

It was painted before. That color is hard to match. Dealers always have new vehicles fixed at local body shops. They get paid for transportation damage. They call the color issue the "flop". It probably looks decent at different angles, and way worse at others. If you look close at the panel you may be able to see dirt in the clear. Also look to see if the bolts have been disturbed. You can tell by paint shipped from the bolt heads

Some transport damage is actually fixed before arriving at dealer.

I would be willing to bet that the dealership will do nothing, sadly. They will claim it is just the angle of the sun and that they can't see it in person so it's no big deal. This is where you tell them you are going to have a professional (3rd party, not theirs) body shop to inspect it for any signs of re-spray and if there is any you want some sort of compensation (I would tell them I want a full professional re-spray). I personally don't know if I would want yet another shop to attempt to color match it as this is likely the hardest color to match, so it could end up worse than it is now.

I bet a dollar dealer won't do anything.

This was beat to death a couple years back. With same results.
