To each is own but I also prefer the T4R pro wheels in matte black over the gloss black and style of the trd pro wheels. 20181117_162511.jpg

If they were lighter and stronger I'd go for them. However, truck wheels are mostly about diameter and backspacing. I came from a Lexus IS300 with 11 lbs wheels (SSR Forged type-C). Those were 500 per wheel. And, correct me if I'm wrong but replica TRD 4Runner wheels are lighter and wider than "real oem" wheels?

I'm looking at these right now in the 16 inch version on ebay. I've been looking for some reviews as there is not much about the company selling them on ebay or actual owners who bought these. So how are they holding up? Also are you running some kind of wheel spacer that is pushing them out like that? I notice they are different from OEM in that they are 0 offset and 8 inch rim width. Those look great btw. Making me want to pull the trigger even more!!

These are on my 1st gen without spacers. Not sure if the fitment is similar to your generation but as far as I know OEM wheels are usually a weaker offset combined with a narrower wheel. Most aftermarket seem to run an about an inch wider - in replica form. These wheels have been great - no finish defects or peeling so far. I'd say pull the trigger but first.... submit an offer :)

Perfect. Thanks for the response! So in my research I've found the OEM are 16x7 with a +13mm offset. So these ebay ones are 16x8 with a 0 offset! That's a win win as far as I'm concerned. That was the only thing I didn't like about the oem was how tucked into the wheel well they are! They look excellent on your 1st gen. Not sure how that will translate to the 3rd gen but I think I'm going to find out. These are not a make offer deal though...?

Thank you! I would just send a message and ask if they're accepting offers. Simple as that. Another nice thing about these wheels are that they dont paint the contact between the rotor and the wheel... and it looks very sharp where the paint to metal cutoff is. Seems like an observation I couldn't help but notice :)

Didn’t say it floated my boat either.

Just sharing since bronze, gold, copper, etc. wheels seem to be a popular route for some insta-cred.

Thanks! I agree. The visual details always get lost with black wheels.

I prefer the look switching out to black lugs over the chrome ones. I bought a bag of 24 from my parts department. A7258CA4-5F21-4008-8C38-FB2D355D80B8.jpg

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I like them as they are a different color... not overplayed.

Different strokes... I don't know, I had black wheels on my '07 Taco Pre-runner for the last 10 years, and I instantly wrapped my new 2018 Off Road's in black vinyl. Hell maybe the bronze would look good..?
