Looks normal to me. They are metallic paint so different angles and light cause the effect.

Look at it person if you can. It might be barely noticeable. My mgm might have a little of that but it’s hard to tell because when light hits it is changes. So it’s your call if it’s enough to bother you then don’t do it. Otherwise go for it. I really love my mgm.

Lift? Yea I got one of those
No complaints with my MGM so far. Some of the pics don't look clear or pick up the detail, esp. with the background reflections. I'd rather see it in person to make any determination.

Mine looks fine. No idea where the notion of MGM is bad started. Light makes the paint a different color, depending on angle. Look at it in person and decide.

i didn't really go looking for a mgm tacoma but the one i bought had all the options i wanted and i went for it. Really love the color now, the metallic really pops in the sun and i get compliments all the time. couldn't see getting a tacoma in any other color now. I also dont have any issues with ,ine and i purchased it in November of 2016

It's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Dont let them deter you if you like the color, happy with mine

Want to say mine is fine but it sort of wasnt

After a few weeks I developed a spot on front left fender. Dealer ended up saying it was a burn and repainted the whole fender. But other than that paint has been fine. It's hard to say anything positive about Toyota paint when it's so thin regardless of color lol

That’s the only pic I took after test drive. I would have taken more but I didn’t know about mgm issues till I found it here online. It was a gloomy day of test drive. Anyone with a 2018 mgm have issues ?

You will discover plenty to worry about if you choose black. Looks awesome when it’s perfect but it has to be a labor of love to keep it that way. From my experience. I’d go for the gray.

I haven't noticed any issues in the paint... until... 20 seconds after I owned it and all the pollen in this city descended upon my truck. SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
