I gave you as much thought as your post required. You have a 9 year old truck, out of warranty, you seldom use the vehicle and you have a rodent infestation. You expect someone else (i.e. Toyota) to take responsibility for YOUR problem? On top of that you carry the bare minimum insurance. You need to take responsibility. It’s your problem, own it.
