Finished cuttin up the bumper. Took a few inches off the sides of it.

 

Lost a piece of my truck.

 

Best thing I ever did. Love my bobbed bed. How much you take out?

 

I took out 10 inches from it.

 

Nice. I think I ended up with 16 and I'm real happy with it. No overhang besides the shackles.

 

You took out a lot. Mine ends right at the shackle. I still need some of the bed for work and it just fits my camping gear better at 10 inches taken out than if I were to take more out.

 

I think 14 puts it right inline with the shackle bolt. 16 right in front of it. Its alittle tight when camping but normally im going with someone else as well so we split the load between the 2 of us. All well worth not dragging the bed on everything though.

 

Yeah I used to have to hold everybody’s shit since I mostly go with my dads Jeep and his Jeep buddies they have no where to put stuff. Guess they can’t throw there trash in my truck as much anymore.

 

Still have some welding to get done inside the bed. Have a small gap to fill and then to grind out all my shitty welds.

 

Finished up the welding. Time to grind the welds and clean it up. Need to figure out what to do about the rake. I just lowered the front and would rather not raise it back up

 

Got the tire mounted in the bed.

 

Gotta finish smoothing out the besides and put some paint over them. Plan to hit some trails this weekend, hopefully get some pictures and videos.

 

Picked up a good size piece of metal today. Time to make some stuff.

 

Skids?

 

I have full skids but I made my dual case skid out of some thin metal and I might weld some of this to them to strengthen them up. I’ve gotta use some also to make a square out of the rear frame to make a rear bumper

 

Found a little snow and picked up a Christmas tree this weekend.

 

Few more pictures from getting a Christmas tree. Also added some red lights on the truck and changed my dash lights to red.

 

Little update on the truck. Started building a swingout tire carrier to get the tire out of the bed.
