Here it is just needs some paint. It’s not perfect my welds suck it has a lean to it but it works so I’m happy with it.

Thanks man it’s my first time building one. It’s got a little lean to it and it’s not perfect but it’s nice getting the tire out of the bed. Especially since my beds bobbed

Painted the bumper up. Just need to add some studs for the tire to sit on.

So I went to the snow last weekend and had a pretty shitty time when I broke my swingout tire carrier. It wasn’t reinforced enough and the welds weren’t penetrating like they should have. So I pulled the bed and welded a bar across the frame and attacked that to the bumper as well as using flux core this time that penetrated much better. Also straightened it out since it had a lean to it.

I used 1/8th in 2x2 for the bumper. The reinforcement bar is out of 3/16th 2x2

Added some fender trim too the bedsides also took about an inch off of them. I’ll need to fix the wrap around piece since it no longer runs along the fender.

Thanks man trying to make it a little different then the rest. It’s a nice setup my trucks about as long as it was stock with the swingout now.

Trucks in its natural habitat right now. Most the interior is torn apart as well as the outside to finish up some of the crappy work I’ve done over the past few years. Got some nice updates coming up soon.

Retubbed and sealed my firewall again. Made a little more room to fit my 1.25 spacers and made it more water proof. Wasn’t happy with how it turned out the first time. Yes the hole is huge since I cut out all the old shit and had to cut around all the sealant. Added a switch panel have some more lights coming in as well as added a front light bar.

    Damn, brother!

That sucks that you had to redo the tubs, but good on ya for doing it right. I’ve been pretty happy that mine haven’t leaked (yet).

Yeah man it really sucked redoing it. The sealant I used just sucked and I could tell it was having some small leaks. I’m happy with it now. Used a way better sealer and I got more welds on it. Swapped to some thinner wire and that helped a lot also

Added an 11 inch light bar on the back of the truck. Ran it through the 3rd brake light. It’ll be helpful to see my work stuff at night. Or when you get to the campsite when it’s dark.
