Mine came stock with the Toyo A30 tires. They seemed to have much softer, more flexible sidewalls than the Michelin's. They were quiet but just did not feel sure footed. I have a 2017 TRD Sport. I have heard good things about the Goodyear's that come on the TRD OR's.

I have these on my Land Cruiser, they are great tires. Long life, low noise, great wet traction, very good snow traction. What's not to love. When I first got my Taco it had them too and I loved them even though they didn't meet my needs for the truck.

Yeah for sure. Truck has been down twice now with a little screw lol. I'm trying pretty hard to get a little more use out of these before I swap these out. I bought the truck to keep stock and that is tough for me lol.

I ran two sets of the LTX on my 02 Taco, loved them. Have a set of KOs on my 16 now. Good chance I'll go back to the LTX after I burn the KOs.

Fair question. I have had BF Goodrich All-Terrain's most my adult life on everything from my Trucks to SUV's. However, I used to off road a lot and drive in the mountains then. I spend more of my time on the highway now. When I bought my TRD Sport, I thought I may just go with what I know and get them vs. the whole Bro thing. However, I saw the loss in MPG's, Louder ride, etc. and decided to go back to stock size/type but with a better brand and tire that would last me a while. So I went with Michelin's.

These tires are extraordinary at anything I have put them up against so far. Tread life is rated to 100k miles by many members here on TW. Road noise is minimal. Handling is predictable and solid even in the rain. They are fantastic in snow as well. I have had them climbing rocks in Brown Mountain OHV park in North Carolina with not even as much as a tire spin. I was truly impressed. Can't recommend these tires enough.

I went from bfg rugged fails on my old 2013 to a set of Michellin Ltx AT2 and they were night and day difference in wet, snow and mud and I got better mpg with them.only issues i had with both the bfg and Michelins were they started dry rotting and getting cracks between the treads within the first 8 months I had them with about 8 thousand miles on each set.

KO2 are heavier than LTX. When it comes to rotating mass it does not take long to add up. It adds up faster than dead weight. If I recall right. 1 lb of rotating weight is like 6 lbs of dead weight.

That and heavier tires will also quickly "add up" to detracting from what little low end Torque and throttle responsiveness this truck has
