A cool 8 years and 110k+ miles on these bad boys. Michelin ltx at2 don’t sleep on this one!

Not as aggressive as your average mud bogger and rock crawler tire but it’s got it where it counts! Without sacrificing vertical grooves for those super wet conditions

    Wet 10/10
    Snow 10/10
    Dirt 10/10
    Pavement 10/10

i pulled 130k miles on those Michelin Defenders before the treads were even near 5/32s
winter was around the corner so i put the same new ones on with full treads

those cracks on yours must be from the time-elapsed? 8yrs
i went through mine in around 3 years time rotated at DT every 6-8k miles
had one off-road adventure with them in the Everglades NP and the rest pretty much all hard concrete asphalt roadways

it did not snow much in my locale during that time for a proper testing over the GY DuraTracs i had on the rig before them
so i had to hunt for some snow to try them out
snow and heavy slush were found one late spring in northern Minnesota
the slush was deep and the Michelins absolutely SuckedA$$ trying to 4wheel out of an intersection making a left with the throttle down in 2nd gear pulling out
there was NO CONTROL or Grip and had to get off that throttle or i was into a friggin tailspin wheeling out of this slopp
i do know how to countersteer into a 4wd slide from the stop-and-go but the Michelins would just NOT cooperate in this slippery slop LOL

I like the A/T 2’s better than the M/S 2 ……they are just as quiet and ride better.

130k!! Nice haha that was on Michelin defender, not the Michelin a/t2?
The a/t2 handle fine for me in the snow.

and yea the cracks definitely from aging. They certainly should be replaced by now as they are well past their lifespan

but I figure they go great with the beautiful patina I’ve got coming in. Trying to embrace the beauty

yes they were the Defenders and only had just one nail picked up in them in that time from a Connecticut construction area
i will have to look at the a/t2 and check the difference for the next set
should i mention that when they were getting a bit long-in-the-tooth on the treads the ride was noticeably a bit harder
and riding the deep grooves on the freeway the truck would sway back and forth

I ran those for years and would get 100k but the thread pattern wasn't good in the winter,
I switched to the pathfinder Hankook ATM design and those I get 80-90k out of them and are much better in snow and a very deep tread

I have those tires on my full size truck. They were the factory installed tire. I've heard they are long lasting. Not quite aggressive enough for my Tacoma. I don't do M/T tires anymore, but do like the more aggressive A/T tires on the market. I currently have Duratracs on the Tacoma, they have far exceeded my expectations for miles. Been eyeballing the Falkens.

Yeah, but they don’t look cool broes.

I have 113,600 on my Toyo AT’s on my 2006 Double Cab 4x4 Tundra. I put that on in less than 4 years.

I’m going to run them to winter, then I have some new Falkin AT III’s I’m going to throw on.
