Hey guys I'm about to get some new tires. I'm going with michellins at2 265 70 16. My questions is those that have this tire would you recommend it?? Does your truck ride smooth?? Did the gas mileage dropped??? I don't much off road that's why I went with the at2 instead of a be. Thanks guys.

I'm thinking about getting this tire in the same size. Would be interested in hearing first hand experience.

I have them and love them . 265 70 16 . They ride very smooth. Don't know about MPG , I don't really keep track but I haven't noticed any change.

    No mods whatsoever!
Smooth ride. Quiet. Aggressive looking. No mileage drop-off because they're P rated. White letters in.

I had them in 265/65 17 and they were great. They drove nice and wore great. I had them on my truck for around 7 years and 100K. I still had a bit of tread left, but I was getting cracking from age. I didn't use them for any serious off roading, but I did run them on dirt/gravel logging roads quite a bit when I lived in BC and they were fine for that. Also good grip launching the boat. Winter traction was decent.

I just recently replaced them with Defender LTXs. The Defenders are definitely smoother and quieter. This isn't to say that the AT2's are rough or loud, they aren't. The Defenders just feel more refined in comparison.
