I think Hanson hills is in that area. XC trail
Boyne Highlands had a chair lift for bikers. There's a long XC trail mostly downhill and steeper freeride trails for us stunt junkies. I ride downhill and dirt jump.
I live near Midland, the city forest has a few great XC loops.

My DJ / DH days are over. Would like to hit up some XC trails though.

Didnt realize Midland had trials. I'll have to check that out.

Saturday May 26 as a possible date for a full day on trails / seasonal roads.
Leota, Baldwin or Cadillac would all be good starting points.
The ride would be intended for all stock 4x4 and will avoid narrow paint scratching routs. My 2015 is still scratch free.
Weather permitting burgers and brats will be grilled trailside.
There is almost always an opportunity to test the limit of your rig on a sandy hill or mud hole along the way.
As of now the date and rout are just an idea and for leagle reasons still remain unofficial.
Start time would be 10:AM at or near the trailhead yet to be determined.

Yeah, there are a few and far between. The big three dominate the population here in MI.

Do you have access to the Google map i made with most if not all MI TW members? If so, place the route and/or pin where the run will be and throw the screenshot up. That will get a good number of participants.

In Grayling by chance? If so, lots of trails around that area, and good place for a color run.

Ah, gotcha. I saw stationed in Northern MI and immediately thought camp Grayling. There are tons of trails all around the base, and surrounding state land there.

Also, there is another Michigan Tacoma thread. I feel like we should consolidate it to one for meetups and BS, thoughts?
