If I hadn't been omw to work and in uniform I would've stopped in and made a new friend. :) I also wouldn't mind knowing what he does for work that he's at the bar with a sweet truck at 1:30 on a random Monday. Makes me question my life decisions.

Thought I’d say hi. Live in Berkley, MI. Going to Rocks and Valleys this weekend - should be a good test of the truck.

I’d recommend the MI DNR website. They have a map of all the ORV Routes in the state, as well as GPX map files for download. Just make sure you look at “ORV Routes” and not “ORV Trails”...Trails are for ATV’s and such only.

Correct. Also, anything designated as a “Seasonal Road” doesn’t show up in the DNR maps, but are essentially trails...sometimes pretty tricky to pass through too (i.e. fun).

Was just in Harrison this weekend but passed up Rocks and Valleys because they were closing...instead went on some trails through Roscommon State Forest.

I'm down for the 23rd! The ORV routes are a minimum of 72 inches wide and mostly loose or packed sand in the areas around Grayling, the name of one is the Frederic trail. You can find a map on the DNR website

I ride St.helen and Denton trails often in my RZR. It was pretty wet (lots of mud holes) 2 weeks ago when I was up that way, usually by late June everything is dry. Keep in mind st.helen to grayling is one of the busiest ORV areas in the state around that time of year, expect a lot of on coming traffic in the trails. Personally, I perfer the Huron national Forest near mio it's less populated and the seasonal roads and routes are in hilly areas around bull gap.

Have fun! Let me know what you think of R&V...if it's worth the $25

I’ve been there before in my Jeep. It’s a really good park, and I’d recommend it. Curious to see how the Tacoma handles it.

Polaris makes a good free ORV trail map called "ride command" It's available on android and apple product. I use it all with VVmapping on a garmin GPS.
